From each nation, just one representative standardization organization is authorized to participate in ISO.
The Japanese Industrial Standards Committee (JISC) is participating from Japan.
The standards that have been established so far by ISO count more than 10,000 in total, such as product standards defining specifications of products, test standards defining test methods, and management system standards.
